The Gurin Electric Compact Dehumidifier uses Peltier Technology which means it has no compressor which in turn makes it light and extremely quiet. It is perfect for bathrooms, and small to mid-sized rooms where dampness and humidity are a problem.
This unit is small enough to easily fit on your desk or workbench. It extracts the moisture from the air and stores it in a spill-proof reservoir. Just plug it in and it quietly dries the air. Features an automatic shut off switch to shut the unit off when the reservoir is full.
When this occurs a"full" indicator light will alert you when the reservoir needs to be emptied. Holds up to 16 oz. CE and UL Approved. The Gurin Compact Dehumidifier is a great little machine. It is super quiet and draws just 3.0 amps and the power consumption is just over 22 watts. It runs on 110V and lowers the humidity of a room down about 10%. That may not seem like a lot but in our grow room, the 10% difference is considerably noticeable. No longer are the walls and carpet damp and the musty smell is now eliminated; mold is no longer growing either.
The machine is very easy to empty also. All you have to do is pull up the canister and empty it. We use the water collected to water our plants. It is small enough to fit on a window sill inconspicuously. The dehumidifier runs so quietly you may not even be able to tell it is on except for the green power light and the collecting of water droplets on the canister.
Many dehumidifiers generate a ton of heat but this one does not at all. Also, this one has an automatic shut off switch that shuts the machine off when it is full. It generally takes anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks to fill depending on how humid the room is. The reservoir holds 16 ounces.

As a blogger I am often provided Press Sample kits by companies, just as in this case in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
